MXStates is pleased to present 13 year old Bret "Milkshake" Welch as the February rider of the month. Bret has been riding  bikes for 9 years since he was 4 years old! His hometown is Oklahoma City, OK.

Bret's favorite tracks are Oklahoma Motorsports Complex, Reynard Raceway, Oakhill and I-35 MX. His favorite riders are Trey Canard, Justin Bogel and Dean Wilson. He rides a Kawasaki 85cc and a Super Mini bike.

When asked what his favorite racing moment is he replies "Winning races!" and Bret has a long list of accomplishments already under his belt. He has won 3 championships in the 85cc class at the Branson MX National Championships and came in 9th place in the 65cc class at the AMA Amateur National MX Championship at Loretta Lynn's. Bret represented Team USA in Commercy in France in the MX Master Kids where he finished 3rd out of 80 kids from 23 countries! In 2010 Bret finished 3rd overall in the 65cc class. In 2011 Bret was the AMA Arenacross South champion. He has won a couple of dozen AMA Arenacross races. He came in 5th in the 2011 AMA Arenacross Finals in Las Vegas. In 2007 Bret won the LasVegas KTM Junior Invitational Race. Bret has traveled to compete at Loretta Lynn's the past two years and has numerous top 10 finishes at national races across the USA!
